Why Merino wool?
The short answer is because merino wool keeps your feet dry and warm no matter what. The long answer is this... Merino wool is one of nature's best insulators and superb at retaining body heat. Because of its naturally porous fibers, it doesn't absorb water the same way cotton or synthetic materials do. Instead of getting soggy and clamping up against your skin, merino wool will wick moisture from your skin, keep you warm and remain dry to the touch even when wet. This is especially important in winter, when the difference between dry & warm feet and cold & wet feet can be the difference between an awesome adventure and a miserable existence.
