Pro Winter Leggings Black Ice

I took a gamble with these because I really needed winter leggings I can fit under a rain shell for hiking as a petite plus size hiker (yes, that's a thing) at just barely 158 cm tall and about 88 kilos. Well, I opened the package and thought "no way are these going to fit me properly". I got them over my ankles and hopped and shimmied them up over my generous thighs and hips. Whew! It fits! Although the material does bunche up on around my ankles that is to be expected as my inseam is about 67 cm. These seem to have a lot of support! The rise in the stomach is high which is really helpful for keeping my apron belly in place while hiking (thanks PCOS). I The material makes me wonder if they get less snug as I wear them? I haven't tested then yet but I am hopeful. It would be really interesting to find out if I could size down one for more compression. I purchased the largest size available which was XXL. According to the size helper there wasn't a size match for me because of my height but we women are shaped so uniquely that I always find size charts to be limiting. If your dimensions seem similar to mine I highly encourage you to order them and try them on. Other important info:
I am an avid slow hiker and also snowboarder.
I am extra short with most of my weight in my lower half in stomach, hip, and thighs. I have very strong shapely legs, slim waist and a short torso. Typically wear an EU size 42 on top and a 46/48 on bottom. Picture a Pacific Islander. I hope this review helps other uniquely shaped (read as: blessed) women find the right clothing for all of their adventures! ❤️

I left an earlier review with one star due to the fit of the Pro Winter leggings Even though it was a struggle to get into them, on the advice of the company’s CEO Sandra, I persevered and once I managed to get them on the fit was actually not bad. Unfortunately for my purposes they felt rather cold, so I did return them. I was however pleasantly surprised by the efficient customer service I received from Sandra, and their super streamlined returns policy, and no hassles refund. This is definitely a store where you can shop with confidence, and for that they do deserve five stars.

I am 163cm and weigh 56kg and as per the recommendation, I ordered the Pro Winter leggings in a size small. Frankly, it is a struggle to try and get them on, and are definitely not a good fit. I shall be returning them.

V prehodnem obdobju se super obnesejo. Za pozimi pa so mi prehladne. Najbolje pa mi je, da ne premočijo in ne prepiha veter.

They are comfortable and warm and perfect for those winter days cold but not too freezing. They are perfect for hiking, if you do mountaineering skiing, they are good for uphill but you may want to add a windstopper layer on top for downhill. Very good product, very well made.

They are warm, but still breathable. Worked well hiking. I'm 173cm 64kg normally size small uk 10 but I got medium - fists well on waist but bit lose on knees - however not noticable to others and I didn't feel it when hiking. Happy but would have gone for a size small in hindsight

I haven't tried it yet "in the wild", but it fits just as perfectly as the regular leggings (which I adore). Will try them this summer in Iceland and hopefully the waterrepellent layer can do its job. Still one request to make a pocket in all your leggings, for a phone or a hiking map
